Google announced that "early last month the mayor of topeka, kansas stunned the world by announcing that his city was changing its name to google. we’ve been wondering ever since how best to honor that moving gesture. today we are pleased to announce that as of 1am (central daylight time) april 1st, google has officially changed our name to topeka."What about Topeka?
Google decision makers thought about that if in a town there are 1gbps fiber network for every house, everyone has highest speed net connection , what happen? What reflects to the life? What aplications and use-cases break out?
They are thinking to construct kind of town to answer these questions.
Topeka is the town which wants google to make this project there.
It is not the town the project appied. Topeka governor lobbing for that and in order to get it and he cahnged towns name as google for a month. (google, kansas, us :P) but there are other condidates
